Job Title: Human Resource Executive
Location: Island, Lagos

Job Summary
- The HR Executive will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources function by managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing assistance across recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, performance management, and HR administration.
- This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and reference checks.
- Support hiring managers in selecting suitable candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, staff welfare programs, and communication activities.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and handle basic grievance management.
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
- Prepare HR letters (offer, confirmation, promotion, disciplinary, etc.).
- Manage leave, attendance, and timesheet records.
Performance Management & Training:
- Assist in coordinating performance appraisal processes.
- Identify training needs in collaboration with managers.
- Organize training sessions, track participation, and evaluate effectiveness.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and organizational guidelines.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and communicating HR policies.
- Prepare reports and HR metrics for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification such as CIPM is an advantage).
- 3–5 years proven experience in HR operations or generalist role.
- Good knowledge of HR processes, Nigerian labor law, and compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR information systems.
