We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: In-House Gateman / Gardener

Location: New Owerri,  Imo
Employment Type: Full-time (Live-in position)

Job Summary

  • The Gate Man/Gardener will be responsible for controlling entry and exit within the premises, ensuring security and safety, and maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the compound, lawns, and garden areas.

Key Responsibilities
Security & Gatekeeping Duties:

  • Monitor and control access to the premises.
  • Record all visitors and deliveries in the visitor logbook.
  • Open and close the gate promptly for residents and authorized visitors.
  • Ensure the gate and compound are secured at all times.
  • Report any suspicious movements, persons, or incidents immediately to the employer.
  • Maintain orderliness around the gate area.
  • Switch on/off security lights as required.

Gardening & Maintenance Duties:

  • Water, weed, and trim flowers, lawns, and hedges regularly.
  • Sweep and clean the compound daily.
  • Dispose of garden waste and keep the surroundings neat and tidy.
  • Plant and nurture new flowers, grasses, and shrubs as needed.
  • Maintain garden tools and report any damages for repair or replacement.
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks when required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a gate man or gardener preferred.
  • Physically fit and hardworking.
  • Honest, disciplined, and respectful.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Salary
N45,000 Monthly.
