Job Description

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist in managing the company’s financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • The ideal candidate will support the finance department with daily accounting tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization’s financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Record and post daily financial transactions accurately.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Support with accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Maintain and update accounting ledgers and journal entries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (FMCG experience is an added advantage).
  • Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA (in progress or partly qualified preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Good communication and time management skills.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
