We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Auditor

Location: Garki, Enugu 
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • Coisco is seeking a competent and motivated Junior Auditor to support the Internal Audit function. The ideal candidate will assist in evaluating internal controls, reviewing financial processes, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of internal audit assignments in line with the annual audit plan.
  • Review financial records, operational procedures, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support in identifying control weaknesses, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare audit working papers and contribute to the drafting of audit reports.
  • Assist in follow-up exercises to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Participate in fieldwork activities and provide support to senior auditors as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professional integrity.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years work experience in auditing, accounting, or financial control.
  • Basic knowledge of audit methodology, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Good communication and report writing skills.
  • Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CIA — in view or partial) are an added advantage
  • Resident in Enugu
