Job Summary
- As the Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various construction laboratory tests including soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests in compliance with applicable construction standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laboratory testing for concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.
- Conduct secondary testing for soil, concrete, and asphalt (permeability, strength, material acceptance, etc.).
- Record and label samples in accordance with construction standards.
- Compile, document, and input testing results accurately.
- Ensure the laboratory complies with required accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or Geosciences.
- 1 years of relevant working experience in a construction laboratory.
- Must have hands-on experience in soil, asphalt, concrete, and field testing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in test results.
- Good computer skills for documentation and data entry.
Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 monthly gross.
