Job Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and diligent Lawyer with 2 years post-call experience to join our legal team.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to both litigation and corporate practice, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and handling litigation matters, including legal drafting, court filings, and appearances.
- Support senior lawyers in managing corporate and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, agreements, and correspondence.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategy and advisory work.
- Maintain accurate case files, court schedules, and follow up on pending matters.
- Communicate professionally with clients, regulators, and other external parties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years post-call experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Basic understanding of litigation and corporate/commercial law practice.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of organization, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively with senior team members.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
