Job Title: Kitchen Staff
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description
- We are hiring kitchen staff to support our cook in preparing and serving meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organization in the school kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the cook in meal preparation (washing, chopping, portioning ingredients, etc.).
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Serve meals to students and staff efficiently and courteously.
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas.
- Handle food and supplies properly, ensuring freshness and hygiene.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing kitchen deliveries.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues in the kitchen.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations strictly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is an advantage.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for standing and performing manual tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
