Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced Kitchen Supervisor. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensure high standards of hygiene and safety, manage kitchen staff, and maintain consistent food quality and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations and staff to ensure efficiency and professionalism
• Plan and coordinate food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards
• Enforce hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory, and control food costs
• Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff performance
• Collaborate with management on menu planning and procurement
• Handle kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with food safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Head Cook, food service management or similar senior culinary role
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Ability to manage budgets, stock, and kitchen supplies effectively
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary school certification or degree in Hospitality/Food Service Management
• Prior experience supervising kitchens in schools, hotels, or large institutions
• Certification in Food Safety & Hygiene (HACCP or equivalent)
