Job Description

The Southern Delta University, Ozoro is a public University established by the Act of Delta State House of Assembly on February 23, 2021. The establishment of the University was a direct response of the Government of Delta State to the burning desire for more credible tertiary institutions to address the yearning of the teaming youth of Delta State origin and Nigeria in general desirous of qualitative university education.

The main campus of the institution in Ozoro is approximately 67km from Warri and about 114km from Asaba, the state capital. Its campus at Orerokpe in Okpe Local Government Area, spreads into the commercial and bustling oil city of Warri.

Requirements

  • The candidate for this position must possess a Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university and have been Lecturer II in a recognized university for at least 2 years.
  • The candidate must have reasonable experience in teaching and research, and must show adequate evidence of capability to publish original research articles in reputable national and foreign journals.
  • There must be reasonable evidence of the candidate’s participation in other academic activities and administration as should be expected of a Lecturer I.
