Job Description

The Southern Delta University, Ozoro is a public University established by the Act of Delta State House of Assembly on February 23, 2021. The establishment of the University was a direct response of the Government of Delta State to the burning desire for more credible tertiary institutions to address the yearning of the teaming youth of Delta State origin and Nigeria in general desirous of qualitative university education.

The main campus of the institution in Ozoro is approximately 67km from Warri and about 114km from Asaba, the state capital. Its campus at Orerokpe in Okpe Local Government Area, spreads into the commercial and bustling oil city of Warri.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university and have been Assistant Lecturer in a recognized university.
  • The candidate must be able to show evidence of adequate interest in research.
  • The possession of a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline or MBBS (MBChB) degree from a recognized university also qualifies the candidates to apply for the position.
