Lovonus Microfinance Bank is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria under the Bank & Other Financial Institution Act (BOFIA) of 1991 (as amended) and the National Microfinance Regulatory and Supervisory Framework of December 2009.

Job Title: Legal Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to oversee our legal affairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating legal risks.
- The ideal candidate should have a background in the microfinance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance and support to senior management and staff
- Develop and implement legal strategies to minimize risks
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Manage legal documentation, contracts, and agreements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel
Requirements
- LL.B or LL.M in Law
- Membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the microfinance sector
- Proven track record of managing legal teams and providing strategic guidance.
