We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mathematics / Further Maths Teacher

Location: Mberi, Owerri – Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction: Delivering lessons on mathematical concepts and procedures, adapting teaching methods to various learning styles.
• Curriculum Development: Creating and implementing lesson plans, selecting and preparing instructional materials, and developing engaging activities.
• Assessment: Evaluating student learning through assignments, tests, and exams, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Classroom Management: Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing student behavior, and fostering a love for mathematics.
• Collaboration:Working with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and success.
• Professional Development: Participating in workshops, training sessions, and staying updated on best practices in mathematics education.

Specific Duties:

• Planning and delivering math classes at various grade levels.
• Providing individualized support to students who need extra help.
• Preparing students for standardized tests and assessments.
• Using technology to supplement instruction and engage students.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Attending staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events.
• Participating in school-wide initiatives and activities.
• Assisting with curriculum development and improvement.
• Adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Maintaining a well-organized and accessible classroom environment

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 2-6 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / month.
