We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Sales Representative

Job Summary

  • The Medical Sales Representative is the company’s frontline ambassador — responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies.
  • The role combines medical knowledge with persuasive communication and business acumen to drive sustainable sales growth, strengthen customer loyalty, and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing:

  • Promote and detail the company’s products to doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Execute marketing campaigns and sales strategies in assigned territories.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Organize and conduct product presentations, clinical meetings, and promotional events.
  • Ensure effective product visibility and shelf presence in retail outlets.

Market Intelligence:

  • Gather market insights including competitor activities, pricing trends, new product launches, and prescriber feedback.
  • Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategies to exploit them.
  • Report emerging trends in disease patterns and prescribing behaviors.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a robust customer database and call cycle plan.
  • Handle customer complaints or product feedback promptly and professionally.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Submit daily/weekly activity reports, sales call logs, and territory performance updates.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical marketing standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NAFDAC).
  • Ensure proper documentation for product samples, gifts, and promotional materials.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Territory coverage and call frequency compliance.
  • Growth in prescription base and customer retention rate.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reports.
  • Feedback from clients and supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Pharm.

Salary
N200,000 – N500,000 per month.
