By bridging the gap between consumers and vendors, Local Buka enhances access to quality dining experiences for Nigerians and global food lovers.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mobile Developer / Engineer (React Native + Firebase)

Location: Lagos
Role Type: Contract or Full-time

Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:

  • Building scalable, high-performance mobile applications using React Native and Firebase.
  • Collaborating closely with design, product, and data teams to deliver smooth user experiences.
  • Maintaining clean, efficient code and integrating APIs.
  • Experimenting and iterating rapidly — we move fast.

Ideal Candidate

  • 1 – 3 years of proven experience building consumer apps.
  • Strong command of React Native, Firebase, and version control (Git).
  • Startup or product-led experience is a major plus.
