Job Title: Partner Commercial & Performance Operations Lead

Location: Lagos
Department: Innovation & Partnerships
Reporting to: Manager, Partner Services & Operations

Job Description

  • Drive the commercial and performance management agenda across all partners.
  • Ensure partner contracts, invoice billing models, and operational performance align with commercial targets and client SLAs.

Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities / Objectives:

  • Drives cost control and commercial alignment across engagements.
  • Track partner performance metrics and recommend performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct profitability analysis across key partner portfolios.
  • Support commercial negotiations and renewals.
  • Monitor adherence to contract SLAs and ensure escalation for underperformance.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Product Management to align partner costs to product pricing.
  • Lead the automation of performance dashboards and reports.
  • Manages partner payments, invoicing, and reconciliation.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Partner cost optimization (% savings).
  • Cost variance < 5% against forecast.
  • Partner contract & SLA compliance rate >90%.
  • Invoice accuracy > 98%.
  • Partner credit note collections vs. service performance.

Requirements

  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering.
    • 3 – 6 years of experience in commercial operations, partner management, or financial analysis within telecoms or technology.
    • Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Proficiency with Excel/Power BI for analytics.
    • Strong financial and contractual understanding.
    • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic thinking and presentation skills.
