  • Our client — a leading institution in the agricultural finance and financial inclusion space — is seeking a Partnerships Manager to spearhead its donor engagement, funding, and collaboration strategies across Nigeria and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead donor and investor engagement efforts with bilateral, multilateral, and development finance partners.
  • Design and execute strategies to attract grants, funding, and investment that align with the institution’s mission.
  • Develop compelling funding proposals and manage reporting to ensure compliance with donor expectations.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across government, international development, and private sectors.
  • Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and reporting frameworks for all funded programs to ensure transparency and impact.
  • Shape communication and brand strategies that highlight partnership success stories and strengthen the organization’s reputation.

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in partnerships, donor relations, or business development — with at least 5 years in a senior role within a financial institution, DFI, or NGO.
  • Proven success in securing large-scale funding or investments from international development agencies or private-sector investors.
  • Strong proposal writing, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a track record of managing complex donor relationships.
  • Familiarity with agricultural finance and development programs is highly desirable.
