Job Description
- Our client is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Patient Experience Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will serve as the link between patients and hospital management, ensuring every patient enjoys a seamless, comfortable, and satisfactory healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and guide patients courteously upon arrival at the hospital
- Monitor and improve the overall patient experience across departments
- Handle patient feedback, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to resolve service issues
- Conduct patient satisfaction surveys and prepare performance reports
- Ensure patients are well-informed about hospital services, processes, and waiting times
- Promote a culture of empathy, respect, and hospitality within the hospital
- Support management in implementing patient-centered service improvements.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in any relevant field (Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Psychology, or related discipline preferred)
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in customer service, front desk, or patient relations (healthcare experience is an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate under pressure.
