Job Title: Physics / Basic Technology Teacher

Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Part-time

Skills (Competencies and Abilities)

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualification.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of physics concepts (mechanics, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, modern physics, etc.) and the ability to explain them clearly.
  • Pedagogical Skills: Ability to plan lessons, use various teaching methods (demonstrations, experiments, discussions), and assess student learning effectively.
  • Practical Skills: Proficiency in conducting laboratory experiments and ensuring safety.
  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication to explain complex ideas simply and interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Classroom Management: Maintaining discipline and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Technological Skills: Using technology in teaching (e.g., simulations, online resources, interactive whiteboards).
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Helping students develop these skills through physics problems.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Tailoring teaching methods to different learning styles and making physics engaging.
  • Patience and Empathy: Understanding student struggles and encouraging them.

Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
