Job Title: Planning Manager, DSR Numan

Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Oversees the strategic planning process within the company, develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Work with all the departments within the company to analyze market trends, manage resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning: – Developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Resource Management: – Allocating resources efficiently across different department and projects.
  • Project Management: – Ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and meet quality standard.
  • Data Analysis and Forecasting: – Analyzing Market trends, assessing risk, and developing forecast to support planning decision.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: – Working with various departments, including sales, marketing and finance to align goals and ensure effective planning.
  • Process Improvement: – Continuously evaluating and improving planning processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: – Developing and managing project budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively.
  • Production Planning: – Developing and managing production schedules, considering demand, supply chain, capacity, and other constraints.
  • Material Requirement Planning (MRP):- Creating and maintaining MRP plans, establishing safety stock levels, and implementing.
  • Capacity Management:- Planning and managing production capacity to meet demand.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Any professional certification would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning or project management.
