Job Title: Pool Car & Truck Driver

Location: Onitsha, Anambra

Description

  • We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Pool Car & Truck Driver to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, goods, and materials, while ensuring company vehicles are properly maintained and operated in line with traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company pool cars and trucks for the transportation of staff, goods, and equipment in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles, ensuring that oil, water, tires, brakes, and other essential components are in good condition before each trip.
  • Maintain vehicles in a clean and roadworthy state, promptly reporting any faults or irregularities for necessary repairs.
  • Comply strictly with all road traffic regulations and company driving procedures to guarantee safety.
  • Keep accurate records of daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials where required.
  • Support the logistics team in coordinating transportation schedules and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Perform additional driving or transport-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • SSCE / OND minimum qualification.
  • Valid driver’s license (cars & trucks – Class E or equivalent).
  • 3 – 5 years professional driving experience.
  • Good knowledge of road networks and traffic rules.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and discipline.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
