Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Professional Driver to provide high-quality driving and transport services to senior executives.
  • The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge of road safety regulations, routes, vehicle maintenance, and a polished approach to client service.
  • This role requires punctuality, discretion, and adaptability in a fast-paced executive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, punctual, and efficient transportation to executives for business and personal engagements
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle(s) in a clean, tidy, and roadworthy condition at all times
  • Monitor and ensure routine vehicle servicing, registration, and insurance are up to date
  • Plan routes based on road and traffic conditions using navigation tools
  • Maintain a log of daily trips, fuel usage, vehicle servicing, and maintenance records
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and assignments
  • Assist with loading and unloading items, running errands, or courier tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all driving laws, traffic rules, and company policies
  • Maintain flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, or extended trips
  • Must reside in Abuja

Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent; additional certifications or diplomas are a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Good knowledge of local and interstate roads and traffic patterns
  • Professional appearance and respectful demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adjust to last-minute changes
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to respond to minor vehicle issues

Skills:

  • Knowledge of vehicle security protocols
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning apps (e.g., Google Maps)
  • Defensive driving certification is an added advantage.
