We are a consortium of leading supply chain companies inviting qualified, dedicated, and motivated individuals to apply for various warehouse positions within our operations teams in Lagos and Abuja in the capacity below:

Job Title: Project Accountant

Location: Abuja

Job Summary

  • As part of our continued effort to strengthen public health supply chain efficiency, we seek professionals with a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Successful candidates will play a key role in supporting the effective management, storage, and dispatch of commodities, ensuring timely and accountable delivery in line with industry and organizational standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Track project costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, to ensure proper allocation and cost control.
  • Reconcile project accounts and ensure accuracy of data in the accounting system.
  • Generate regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Monitor project-related receivables and follow up on outstanding payments from customers/clients.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to track material usage and reconcile inventory records.
  • Monitor variances between planned and actual project costs and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Support implementation of cost-saving measures and process improvements.
  • Provide financial guidance to project teams and advise on cost implications of operational decisions.
  • Review and support the warehouse finance and admin officers.
  • Work with project managers, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

  • Ensure adherence to approved project budgets and flag variances promptly.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning for warehouse-related project activities.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in project accounting, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and project cost control.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
