Job Title: Project Architect (Architect / Structural Designer)

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a talented Architect to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, creativity, and attention to detail. This role requires
  • expertise in architectural principles, project management, and communication skills to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Experience: 5 years and above post NYSC experience in similar or related roles in a reputable design firm
  • Licensed architect with a valid professional registration will stand a better chance, but not a MUST.
  • Proven experience in architectural design and project management. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other design tools.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
  • Collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Be resident in Ode-Remo, Ogun State or be ready to relocate to Ode-Remo or neighboring towns for ease of commuting to site on daily basis.
  • Have worked with a renowned civil engineering firm in Nigeria or worked with an international civil engineering firm abroad.
  • Fluent in English – oral and written. Secondly, ability
  • To communicate in Yoruba language is highly recommended.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Architects require strong project management skills to effectively manage budgets, schedules, and resources.

Problem-Solving:

  • The ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during the design and construction process is Adaptability:
  • Architects need to be adaptable and able to adjust plans according to circumstances and unforeseen challenges.

Skills Required:

  • Design presentation skills.
  • Strong design skills, proficiency in CAD software, Master Plan, 3D modeling, Photoshop, landscaping, and
  • knowledge of building codes and regulations are crucial.
  • Creativity.
  • Adaptability and able to adjust plan accordingly.
  • Technical proficiency in drafting and design software
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of sustainability principles.

Salary
N250,000 – N400,000 Monthly, certain bonuses depending on performance.
