Job Title: Relationship Manager, Private Wealth

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • Responsible for creating and growing new and existing private wealth and HNI/UHNI relationships across the ARM Group to grow Funds Under Management (FUM).
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wealth management spanning asset management, estate planning, and a proven ability to manage high-net-worth client relationships.

Key Responsibilities 
Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Provide personalized financial advice and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and performance assessments.

Business Management:

  • Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell financial products and services.
  • Acquire new private wealth, stockbroking and estate planning relationships; significantly growing the funds under management.
  • Collaborate with other business segments to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.

Client Service Engagement: 

  • Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly.
  • Monitor client feedback and implement improvements

Market Analysis and Insights:

  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients and the team based on market analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the needs and expectations of high-net-worth clients.
  • Exceptional client service skills and a proactive approach to client management.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships based on trust and integrity.
  • In-depth knowledge of wealth management products and services.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess financial markets and trends.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management and financial planning.
  • Ability to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Innovative thinking and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management or private banking, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
  • Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
