We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee company-wide accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with FIRS, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Liaise with tax authorities and manage corporate tax obligations effectively.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes.
- Supervise internal and external audits.
- Provide financial advisory support to management for strategic decisions.
- Mentor and develop junior accounting staff to ensure consistent performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA).
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in consulting, manufacturing, or corporate environments.
- Demonstrable relationship with FIRS, LIRS, and other regulatory tax bodies.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
