Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial controls, and statutory compliance.
- You should be results-oriented, meticulous, and capable of working independently and collaboratively to ensure sound financial management and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Financial Management & Accounting:
- Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and work with departmental heads to monitor performance.
Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities for annual audits and inspections.
- Maintain and enforce internal controls and risk mitigation procedures.
Payroll & Staff Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processing, deductions, benefits administration, and staff reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
- Review and process all payments, receipts, and financial obligations.
Asset & Inventory Management:
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Support reconciliation of inventory records with physical stock.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Experience in budgeting, audit coordination, and compliance within a corporate or consulting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
