We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Accountant – Real Estate
Locations: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets and financial forecasts, monitor performance against budgeted figures.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of real estate investments, including ROI calculations and cash flow projections.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the general ledger accounting process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal control procedures.
- Lease Administration: Review lease agreements and analyze lease terms.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate accounting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge accounting software, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
