Job Description

Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma/Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. The university’s motto is “Advancing Knowledge, Conserving Nature.” FUET aims to be a “centre of excellence” focused on environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and responding to environmental challenges through research and education.

Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade of Second Class Lower Division in Accounting or a related field.
  • This role requires a minimum of three (3) years of post-qualification experience in an accounting or finance department, with essential computer literacy (accounting software, MS Excel).
  • A professional qualification (e.g., ATSWA, ACA foundation level) would be an added advantage.
