Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst / Factory Accountant

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Accountant to join our team in Calabar.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial functions within the factory operations, including cost control, inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented, ICAN-certified professional with strong experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and manage factory budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to track manufacturing expenses
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed costing reports
  • Conduct inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and stock control processes
  • Ensure accurate cost allocation to products and departments
  • Monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending within the factory
  • Perform internal financial audits to ensure compliance and identify variances
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams for cost-saving initiatives
  • Support the external audit process with factory-related financial documentation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements

Requirements

  • HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • ICAN Certification (Mandatory)
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or FMCG accounting
  • Strong knowledge of costing principles, inventory management, and factory finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 Salary
N550,000 – N650,000 Monthly
