Job Description:
The Senior Procurement Operations Officer will manage procurement processes for AfDB projects in Nigeria, ensuring adherence to international procurement standards and donor requirements. Responsibilities include preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and ensuring transparency and fairness in procurement activities. The officer will collaborate with project managers, finance, and legal teams to support project delivery. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multicultural and complex organizational environment.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in procurement operations, preferably in international development.

In-depth knowledge of donor procurement policies and procedures.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage complex procurement projects and teams.
