Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a proven track record in both road / infrastructure projects and building / structural works.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on project supervision experience, and the ability to ensure that construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily site operations across road, infrastructure, and building projects.
  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, subcontractors, and site workers to coordinate tasks effectively.
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to all HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree / HND qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years’ experience in the construction industry, with solid exposure to both road / infrastructure works and building/structural projects.
  • COREN / NSE membership or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project supervision, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
