Job Title: Truck Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Apapa, Lagos

Responsibilties
- In this role, the Maintenance Engineer will Lead with diagnose and repair of operational trucks and ensure all mechanical parts purchased are up to standards and meet standard.
- To carry out and sign off all servicing and repairs to Trucks as required, to ensure all Trucks are operating to optimum safety and efficiency requirements.
- To accurately input mechanical service and repair records of all work undertaken and update the Maintenance team .
- To produce risk assessments and safe systems of work for all activities involved in Truck repairs and maintenance on and off site ensuring the highest standards of safety are discharged.
- To liaise with Fleet and Transport managers in the delivery of a responsive service that will include immediate response to incidents and breakdowns.
- To investigate any damages to trucks and reporting on appropriate repair options, causation of damage and making recommendations.
- To actively source repairs parts from competitive vendors and advice Management accordingly.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years professional experience in Truck Maintenance in a logistics company.
- General knowledge of maintenance of Hoowo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Daf Trucks, Scania Trucks, DYNA Mercedes Trucks, MP8 & Vision Mack Trucks, MAN Trucks, etc.
Salary
N400,000 monthly.
