Job Description
Nosagie Holdings is an indigenous registered company, having its headquarters office located in Benin City, Edo State. It provides EPIC and Project Management Services for the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Industries.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Ugbowor, Benin – Edo
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair:
- Inspect vehicles using diagnostic tools to identify mechanical/electrical faults.
- Repair and replace faulty components such as brakes, steering systems, engines, suspensions, batteries, and cooling systems.
- Troubleshoot vehicle issues relating to noise, vibration, overheating, poor performance, or leaking systems.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Perform routine servicing such as oil changes, filter replacement, tire rotation, brake servicing, and lubrication.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure vehicles meet regulatory and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain accurate service logs and recommend future maintenance schedules.
Workshop Operations:
- Ensure availability and proper use of tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics and support staff to meet service timelines.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Complete job cards, service records, and parts requisition forms.
- Report major faults or required parts replacement to the supervisor.
- Document repair costs and time spent per vehicle.
