Job Title: Video Editor / Graphics Designer

Location: Agbado, Lagos

Job Description

  • As a Creative Graphics Designer/Video Editor, you will need to have a strong eye for detail, and the technical skills to bring creative visual ideas into compelling life.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality graphic designs and video content that aligns with different brand identities and marketing goals.
  • Your work will play a crucial role in engaging audiences, enhancing brand presence, and driving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design visually appealing graphics for digital and print media.
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts.
  • Ensure final product aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into projects.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Optimise video and graphic content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions.
  • Translate raw script to graphics and compeling videos
  • Revise and refine rough cuts to improve the pacing, continuity and overall feel of a project.
  • Revise and refine final cuts based on notes shared,
  • Add visual and audio effects to a project.
  • Work on Color Grading.
  • Work with creative team to finalise edits and export the final version of a footage in relevant formats.

Requirements

  • Strong skills with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Excellent understanding of visual storytelling and design principles.
  • Creative Thinker
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Proven experience as a video editor and graphic designer.
  • Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous video editing and graphic design work.
  • Knowledge of animation is a plus.
  • Excellent proofreading, editing and copy-writing skills
  • Indepth Knowledge of Software such as InDesign, Photoshop. Etc.
  • Good Organisation, and time management skills with the intuitive ability to prioritise on projects as required
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Salary
N60,000 – N100,000 / month.
